Empowering independence and dignity, delivered in the place our clients call home.

Golden Horizons Care Services Inc. provides trusted, non-medical private-pay home care for seniors and for adults of any age living with illness, injury, or disability. A family-led company, not a franchise: local decisions, made by people who live here. Women-owned and women-operated, led by our CEO Areej Nasir Khan, Golden Horizons was also built to close a real gap: culturally attuned care for newcomer and multicultural families across Saskatoon, while welcoming every family in our community with the same warmth.

Care That Understands You

Culturally attuned senior and home care, open to every family in our community.

Golden Horizons was built on a simple idea: home care is better when it takes the time to understand your traditions and your family's expectations, not just your file number. That kind of care remains genuinely hard to find in Saskatoon. We built Golden Horizons to close that gap, while welcoming every client in our community with the same warmth, dignity, and respect, regardless of background.

Why this matters

Saskatoon and the towns around it have limited dedicated senior and adult home-support options. Golden Horizons was built specifically to close that gap, starting close to home, and growing only as fast as we can maintain the standard of care every client deserves.

Our Story

Built on the same trust our family earned in child care.

Golden Horizons Care Services Inc. is women-owned and women-operated. Our CEO, Areej Nasir Khan, owns and leads the company day-to-day. Muhammad Nasir Khan serves as a Director, providing advisory guidance and operational support as needed, but the business is Areej's to build and run. We deliver trusted, non-medical private-pay home care to seniors and adults of any age across Saskatoon and area, extending a values-led care standard the family already built its reputation on.

Areej is completing her degree in biological sciences and volunteers as a caregiver at a local Saskatoon hospital, with plans to pursue a nursing career. She built Golden Horizons around the same hands-on standard of care she brings to her volunteer work every week: patient, attentive, and genuinely present with the people she's caring for.

Golden Horizons operates under a formal governance structure: a shareholders' agreement, defined decision-making authority, and an independent director alongside family leadership. That means the warmth of family-led care comes with the accountability of a properly run company.

Women-owned and women-operated. Areej doesn't just run Golden Horizons, she owns it. That's not a title, it's a fact of the cap table.
